This intergenerational exhibition, which brings to life the great historical periods of the past, will amaze young and old alike!
KIDS' CORNER
- A digital booklet specially designed for children, with easy-to-understand explanations and a fun game!
- Monthly prizes to be won in our prize giveaway: cinema tickets, gift vouchers and much more!
- The exhibition also has a children’s play corner! They’ll find lots of games designed to awaken their creativity, while having fun!
ENTERTAINMENT
For just €3 on top of the price of the exhibition, enjoy a guided tour on Wednesdays from 2pm to 4.30pm.
This guided tour includes :
- Guided tour of the exhibition by a specialist guide
- Demonstration of how to handle the weapon by a
soldier from the Napoleonic period! - Immersion in the life of a soldier: costume, swords and bicorns.
When? Every other Wednesday (from 14/05) and every Wednesday during the holidays!
Please note that bookings are required and are available two months in advance. Guided tour in French.
COLLECTION
Alongside the PLAYMOBIL dioramas, we’re exhibiting a selection of collectors’ items to combine a playful approach with a scientific dimension!
You’ll be able to discover historical objects such as period vases, swords, ancient statuettes and a fragment of the text of the pyramids, to name and much more.
These artifacts come from our collection, from several Belgian museums and from private collections. They will enhance the exhibition and add a new dimension to your visit.
For the more curious, a special visitor’s booklet, entirely free of charge, has been designed to accompany and enrich your visit!
